Micro Current Neurofeedback

Healthy Mind

Safe • Effective • Non-Invasive • No Drugs • No Pain
Relax. Reboot. Strengthen

At the Mind & Body Family Health Center, we specialize in Micro Current Neurofeedback or “MCN,” an emerging treatment designed to help the brain ‘reboot’ itself. MCN is increasingly used to treat mind-related issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD and PTSD and many other disorders (see the full list below). It’s entirely safe, painless, non-invasive and effective for both adults and children. In a typical MCN session, Small electrodes are applied to a patient’s head to reflect brain waves and encourage a ‘re-routing’ of established brain wave patterns.

This enables the brain to adjust itself by creating new brain wave patterns. Typical responses within the first few treatment are mental clarity, a sense of calmness, clearer senses, and more restorative sleep. Over 85% of patients observe a noticeable positive change in fewer than three sessions.

We are extensively trained, and certified in MCN and can design a treatment program to meet your individual needs. We use state of the art equipment and sessions are administered by an R.N.

What Is It?
IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback, or ‘MCN’, is a safe, revolutionary, technology that uses brain wave feedback to help the brain reboot itself. Due to environmental factors, stress, sickness or injuries, the brain can become unbalanced and brain waves can become fixed in patterns that produce brain-related disorders. MCN treatments use low-impact electrical signals (‘Micro Currents’) to help the brain create new patterns and alleviate common brain-related illnesses.

How Can It Help Me?
MCN addresses many disorders including PTSD, ADD/ADHD, Depression, Anxiety and many more. 85% of patients report positive changes within three sessions. Typically, patients report experiencing a sense of calm, improved concentration and memory, and a lifting of the ‘fog’ associated with many brain imbalance disorders.

Is It Safe?
IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback is an FDA registered EEG amplifier and is extremely safe and pain-free. The amount of electric current used is 1/100 of a AA battery for the duration of 1/100 of a second is not generally noticeable. Treatments are safe and effective for adults and children.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?
Every patient is different but three to five sessions is usually sufficient to start generating positive results. 10-20 total sessions is common.

Why Mind & Body Family Health Center?
Our staff members are extensively trained and certified in MCN and can design a treatment program to meet your individual needs. We use state of the art equipment and sessions are administered by a registered nurse.

We use IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback, Unlike traditional neurofeedback, Micro Current Neurofeedback produces fast results in a limited number of sessions, and the ease and simplicity of treatment all distinguish it from traditional neurofeedback. Micro Current Neurofeedback produces a measurable change in the brainwaves without conscious effort from the individual receiving the feedback.
